FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION

FAQS

SERVICE QUESTIONS

Q: What is the typical drying time?

A: Typically 3 to 5 hours. The key to getting dampness out of your carpet is airflow. We recommend that you do the following two things to enhance your drying time:

Q: Should I move my furniture or will your technicians move the furniture for me?

A: We want our technicians to be great cleaners rather than great movers, so we keep them away from moving large bulky items such as large formal dining room tables, china hutches, any type of electronics including entertainment centers, and in the bedroom we leave beds and dressers in place. Our thoughts are to use common sense regarding your furniture. For example, we would not move (nor would you want us to move) a baby grand piano.

Our technicians would be happy to move items such as sofas, love seats, tables, and chairs if you would like.

Q: What should I do to prepare for the technician’s arrival?

A: Please pick up any toys and decorative items that are on the carpet… we will take it from there.

Q: Will there be any residue left in the carpet?

A: No. CARPET ON THE ROAD thoroughly rinses the carpet so that no residue is left in your carpet. This is why your carpet has such a fresh scent after we are done! All of the dirt and soil, along with our cleaning emulsifiers have been completely rinsed out of your carpet.
